The Myths and Legends Project 2020
St. Joachim's have now concluded the wonderful 4 week Myths and Legends project which is part of this year's Autumn English curriculum. During the project, the children explored the exciting tales of British mythology - the heroic stories of King Arthur and Robin Hood. They learnt all about the adventures of the heroes, heroines and villains of these legends. To bring the tales to life, the school was decorated for the 4 weeks as a medieval castle, and the children took part in a Medieval Day. They dressed up as the characters, feasted at a banquet and participated in shield-making and archery. (See our Gallery!)
The project concluded with an arts and writing competition, and the entries were wonderful!
We can't wait for our next exciting project - watch this space!
