St. Joachim's win 2nd Place at London Chess Classic Tournament!

A huge congratulations to the 18 children who took part in the London Chess Classic tournament on Tuesday 3rd December 2019 at Kensington. It was a rather long day, starting from 8:30am to 5pm, but the children showed great skills and determination. All the pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 had to compete in five tough matches but the children did exceedingly well bringing home many medals from bronze to gold. Annwulika in Yr 5 received top points in the Year 5 category managing to not drop a single point in the contest! Thanks to all the children's fantastic achievementS, St Joachim's came second in the competition! Well done to one and all!
