Science fiction project: KS2 visit the Natural History Museum and Science Museum

As part of our current Science fiction project, Years 3, 5 and 6 visited the Natural History Museum to investigate how science has developed and changed through time. The classes discovered the origin and changes to the solar system, as well as how humans and other animals have evolved over time or even become extinct. The children had some very interesting conversations about how science might develop even further in our lifetimes.​ Year 4 visited the Science museum during the same period to explore the origins of the universe, and the moon landing.
