Remembrance Day
Friday the 11th November was the 104th Armistice day, a day to remember those who have given their lives in sacrifice that we might enjoy the freedoms of today in the UK. Our school councillors and some prefects attended the schools service at East Ham Cenotaph, along with all the other Newham Deanery Catholic Schools. It was a reverent and prayerful service of reflection. Our Head boy and girl both read beautifully at the service. The rest of the school had an Armistice assembly led by Mr Vidal. We all observed the 2 minutes silence impeccably.
