International Week
During April, as a school we celebrated International Week. Each class were given a different country from all different continents to study. Our project ‘seven continents, one school’ aims to celebrate all cultures and learn about new cultures that may not have been studied before. On Thursday 20th April, we celebrated our children’s own cultures by hosting a food tasting event after school in the playground. There were plenty of generous donations of food by parents which helped the event to run smoothly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our project was rounded off nicely on Friday with a celebration assembly. The children were able to perform a representation of what they had learnt over the project.
