London Zoo

Year 5 visited London Zoo as part of their science topic: ‘Circle of Life’. The children explored the zoo in order to find mammals, amphibians, insects and birds, to see if they could identify the different phases of the life cycle within the enclosures. The children then engaged in a ‘Endangered Animals’ workshop where we discussed how zoos are working to help conserve certain species, and what we could do to help.
