Brilliant Club

The theme for The Brilliant Club this year was Nature in Literature. The children had 7 sessions with a PHD tutor in which they learnt and discussed how nature was portrayed in literacy using advanced topic vocabulary and critical thinking for the allegorical messages.

Their final assignment was a 1000 word essay in which they had to think critically about how nature was portrayed in a piece of creative writing and how this made the reader feel about nature and what choices were made to create that effect. The children worked extremely hard and received their well deserved certificate this week at King’s College.
