Year 6 at Science Camp

Together with the Year 6 pupils from St Helen’s our Year 6 pupils attended Science Camp. The children spent the week completing a range of science lessons which involved investigating habitats and classifying trees. They also took on some traditional camping activities such as orienteering, Forest School, and archery. The children also scoured the beach to find seashells, once they found them they spent some time classifying them and identifying the sea life they belonged too. Thank you to Fr Dan who joined us on Thursday to celebrate Mass at camp with us. Before returning to school the children visited Howletts Wildlife Park where they further developed their understanding of animals and their habitats.
